TC Electric, in its short history, has emerged as one of the leading transit signal system installation contractors in the City of New York. Working on the largest mass transit system in the world, TC Electric has demonstrated that it has the unique expertise to complete the most complex of projects under budget and ahead of schedule.

TC Electric's first challenge was a $7 million signal system subcontract for MTA New York City Transit, which was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Since then, TC Electric has grown and diversified, picking up a wide range of projects. These include a $105 million signal modernization project on the Queens Boulevard Line; an $18 million contract to upgrade Metro-North’s traction power system at Grand Central Terminal; and a $38 million subcontract to replace the signal system on a portion of the Culver Line.
